Swazi TV, the nation’s only operating television station, has suspended three employees for allegedly turning up late for an assignment, according to the Times of Swaziland.

The local media reports that the suspended staff members are editor-in-chief Oscar Mabusela and news reporters Zodwa Dlamini and Mbongwa Dube.
“The suspension from duty is with immediate effect and Mubesela has had the entity’s mobile phone take from him,” says the Times of Swaziland.
“According to two highly-placed sources, the employees were suspended for failing to reach KaPhunga in time where the Minister of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), Dumisani Ndlangamandla, was paying a visit to a Mamaba family that was recently the target of arsonists.”
The newspaper made attempts to speak with the suspended workers as well as Swazi TV CEO, but no contact was made.
